This is a really lovely hotel. Charming and romantic in every way. It also has glass floors for viewing archiological digs within it's breakfast room and had painted vines and flowers along the walls and lovely pieces of furniture. Very nice staff. They deserve a good rating and I would recommend it or come again.
It's hard not to like anything but with all honesty they had not given any helpfull directions expecting I suppose everyone will have access to a navigator. I arrived by bus at the top of the city and had to find my way back down to the bottom with a map but streets aren't clearly identified. After 2 hours of asking and searching, it was located below street level down steps so it wasn't immediately visible. I don't agree with the reviews of great location because after being hot and tired I had to march back up a very steep hill to get back to the center so no quick rest returns in the day. But it is just within the wall.

I loved everything - the location is great - right beside the old city gate and a huge middle ages stone church but the hotel itself is equally fantastic. Such a quality hotel for the price, a wonderful surprise and I cannot recommended this one highly enough - for it's friendly and professional front desk and a lovely room, best hotel I've stayed at in this price range - ever!

Very helpful and kind receptionist, lovely decor in the rooms
Only that I had booked a double and it was a twin bed room, but that was fine for one night
